Various Names: Burmese Banger, Burma Burner, Burma Magic Mushroom
Background: First “discovered” by ethnomycologiest John W. Allen, the Burmese magic mushroom was actually gfited to him by his student in Burma (present day Myanmar). It takes the name from where John W. Allen first experienced this specific magic mushroom, but actually arrived in Burma years earlier via sherpas of the Himalayan mountain range in Nepal. After travelling the historic Silk Road the sherpas entered into Burma with these magic mushrooms amongst their belongings and the Burmese mushroom began its journey from the East to the West. The Burmese magic mushroom has ventured tremendous terrain to meet you.
Distinctive Properties: Golden, caramel coloured caps, short stalks
Effects: The Burmese magic mushroom takes users on a voyage not unlike their own origin story. A generally higher than average potency strain, users have reported trips to be strong but not too heavily cerebral. Great for walking around in nature, feelings of joy and lightness are often related with the Burmese magic mushroom. This strain has the ability to induce deep spells of introspection and insight, and is thought to be a philosophical mushroom, but the cerebral high is not too intense. Users have also reported feelings of joy or euphoria and light visuals along their trip.
