Description
Lizard King Shrooms
Origin: North Mexico
Various Names: Mexico King, Northern King
Background: The story goes that the Lizard King magic mushroom was discovered in northern Mexico by the lead singer of rock band The Who, Jim Morrison. The subculture rockstar was enchanted with reptiles and their role in Indigenous folklore and was aptly given the alias these mushrooms took on. Lizard King magic mushrooms are as enigmatic as their founder, unlike most magic mushrooms, the first flush of the Lizard King strain turned up in a fortuitous combination of horse manure and wood, where most wild mushroom spores aren’t able to flourish.
Distinctive Properties: Sturdy dense caps, hazelnut colour with strong tints of blue.
Effects: The Lizard King magic mushroom is a higher than average potency strain. Lizard King mushrooms produce a cerebral, euphoric trip with minimal body high, promising a great hike or adventure
outside on these magic mushrooms. Lizard King mushrooms can incite a very spiritual journey and bring users closer to nature and one another, paired with vibrant visuals the Lizard King can be considered
a quintessential magic mushroom for novices or well travelled mages alike.
